Welcome to the Man Among Stars hub

Although this is old news, I must mention that Ionuţ published his first poetry volume, entitled "Valuri" ("Waves"), the release date being May 20^th, although the volume itself is dated 2008. If you appreciate the works he posted in the Other Art section, be sure to look for "Valuri" in stores.

As of today, 12.07.2009, this new website will be active. After some consideration, we have decided on a structure that emphasises more on our creations of any type, the most important remaining the musical activity, as can be seen from the way the sections are displayed.

As our desire is to present and bring arguments on our view on some matters, music is simply one of the more natural ways in which we can manifest, but it is not the only one; therefore, on this new site you will also find poems, photographs and whatever else we will feel is relevant to what Man Among Stars stands for.

I will also take this opportunity to introduce our two new members:

Ciprian - on bass guitar, is already known for his work with Kandaon and Blackfall;

Ionuţ Popa - on vocals, has no prior musical activity. At age 20 he has already published a volume of poems and the second one is on the way, so be sure to see some of his works in the Other Art section.

For the time being, we will only be shipping what remaining copies there are in Romania. Please check the availability in the respective discographies;

Man Among Stars has released Nothing.It is available everywhere, even though it is limited to O;

Some problems involving unprofessional hosting services have rendered the site inactive for a period of time. Hopefully the issue is resolved and there will be no problems from here on in.The mp3 download section has been replaced with full album archives in the Discography section of each project. At the end of each release's caption you will find a link to a .zip archive containing the respective material in it's entirety;

The relocation of the 'zine is now complete, and the interview has been made accesible;

Due to objective reasons only one material has been released for the moment and work continues on the second. The Columna EP contains two songs, the second one being a remake of Via Lucis's "Voi". The lyrics have also suffered some modifications. Consult the site's sections for details. Columna is limited to 30 copies;

Recording sessions have begun for the following two Man Among Stars materials, which are to be released simultaneously;

-The Man Among Stars Band section is now up-to-date;

-Man Among Stars's "Via Lucis" and Sigismund's "Nacht und Nebel" are now also available at the Banatian Darkness Distro for exchanges or free with any other purchase;

Some work has begun for what will be the next Man Among Stars release. There is no hurry and also not much time for work, so there will be no estimates.Progress will be slow;

-The Banatian Darkness Distro now has the M.A.S./Ordinul Negru split for sale. Some 20 copies are still available at our contact address for free, after which the split will be available there only, for purchase. We maintain free availability and shipment for all other releases;

-Each Discography section has information about available releases from M.A.S. and Sigismund's solo project;

The cover for "Via Lucis" has been changed. CDs will be available shortly;

An overdue site update has been completed, including a Lyrics section;

The third Man Among Stars release is out.Details in M.A.S. - Discography;

The split announced on 2.XI.2006 was released in 66 copies.Details in M.A.S. - Discography;

A Man Among Stars/Ordinul Negru split CD will be released soon by Banatian Darkness.The materials found on the disc will be "Shining" (M.A.S.) and "Holograms" (O.N.);
